Screenings for Asian Heritage Month

APA Film is already working on the 8th Annual DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival for this fall. That doesn't mean you have to wait until then to see a film. Help celebrate Asian Heritage Month by going out and supporting Asian American cinema!!!

Eve & the Fire Horse, the 2006 DC APA Film Festival closing night film, is playing on Wednesday, May 23, 8pm at the Avalon theater. If you missed it, come out to this special screening to see one of the best features from last year's festival.

As part the 2007 Asian Heritage Festival, APA Film is proud to be screening Mighty Warriors of Comedy on Thursday, May 24th, 6:30pm at American University's Weschler Theater, Third Floor, Mary Graydon Center. Admission is FREE and is open to anyone interested.

Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans of Virginia (CAPAVA) will be holding their 4th Annual APA Heritage Month Celebration on Wednesday, May 30th, 6pm - 8:30pm at Cafe Asia. APA Film will be showing 2 outstanding short films from the 2006 APA Film Festival. Watch traditional drumming and dancing. Sample Café Asia's appetizers w/ complimentary beer. Donation of $10 at door for non-CAPAVA members.
